BERA is an important objective hearing test that evaluates how the auditory system responds to sound. Small electrodes are placed on the skin while sound stimuli are delivered through earphones or suitable transducers.
It may be recommended for certain infants, young children and individuals who cannot provide consistent responses during conventional hearing assessments.
